Established in2003 in Shanghai, China UnionPay Data Services Co., Ltd (hereinafter referredto as CUP Data), a subsidiary of China UnionPay, is a leading outsourcing service provider nationwide specialized in account services.Currently, CUP Data has provided professional solutions including corecard-issuing systems, value-added products as well as consulting and dataanalytics services to over two hundred card issuers. In addition, the companyalso provides secure, stable and efficient operation service for hundreds ofmillions of bank cards.

CUP Data iscommitted to continuously create values for clients through innovative ITservice. The company’s card-issuing data processing service covers differenttypes of card including credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards and offlinechip card accounts, which conforms to corresponding standards of ChinaUnionPay, VISA, MasterCard and other major card schemes. The self-developed CUPData Card-issuing Cloud Service Platform is the first cloud-based card-issuingsystem that fully owns independent intellectual property rights. This systemwas awarded the second prize of PBoC Science and Technology Development Awardin Banking Industry. Centered on core card-issuing systems, the company rollsout multi-scenario value-added products and various Internet financialsolutions such as credit scoring, collection, SMS and call center, aiming tosatisfy customized demands of clients. The company also provides credit cardconsulting and data analytics service based on clients’ needs, its richexperience and massive data resources.

CUP Data alwaysregards system and information security as its lifeline. It is the firstdomestic outsourcing service provider specialized in card-issuing dataprocessing that has passed Compliance and Security Inspection of CommercialBanks Bankcard System Technical Standards conducted by PBoC. After that, thecompany obtained PCI-DSS (The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)certification, SSAE16 certification, ISO9001 certification (quality managementsystem), ISO20000IT certification (service management standard), and ISO27001certification (information security management system). The company hasestablished a local disaster recovery center and a remote one which hasachieved Level 5 of national disaster recovery standard. CUP Data served as oneof the first council members of the Association of IT Outsourcing ServiceProviders in the Banking Sector, which was established by China BankingRegulatory Commission (CBRC). It is also under direct supervision of CBRC forits outsourcing services. Moreover, the company is one of the firstorganizations that supports cryptographic algorithm modification for financialchip cards.
